Festival Guidelines

Black River Music Festival strives to provide a safe, exciting, high-energy atmosphere for people to listen to great music, meet new friends, and have a weekend to remember! All of our rules and regulations are designed to ensure that Festival-goers can have fun safely, relax, and enjoy themselves.

  • No campfires
  • No fireworks
  • No Candles
  • No Charcoal BBQs
  • No smoking in tents or tented areas
  • No glass bottles
  • No pets (only exception – properly harnessed service animals)
  • No illicit drugs or substances
  • No audio and/or video recorders

Green Team

Don’t Litter – Pitch In!

Please sort and dispose of your garbage in the many waste stations provided on site.  It will help in keeping the grounds clean.  Our Green Team can be found on site all weekend and can provide you with garbage bags to keep your camping area tidy.  Your help will be appreciated.


Security and Event Staff have the right to search bags, coolers, backpacks and all containers.  Entry of all prohibited material will be refused.

First Aid

There is a First Aid building located on site with qualified professionals who are available 24/7 to administer basic first aid.  Our First Aid team can be identified by a royal blue shirt with a cross.

Lost and Found

There will be a lost and found booth in the village.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Persons with Disabilities

Handicap parking is available.  If you require assistance one of our many volunteers will be able to assist you.


The Black Avon falls are located a short walk from the festival site.  Bayfield beach is about a 15 minute drive.


Children under 12 years of age admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
